What is the Mentor-ship?
The mentor-ship is simple, to not just to teach you how to paint and design, but also how to KEEP painting and designing. Help you overcome personal hurdles to achieve the goals you have in mind.
Our philosophy is that talent is EARNED, not given. With that baseline we use tools to train our aspiring students how to maintain confidence with their work and how to maintain progress even on the most unmotivated or uninspired days.
We meet twice a week for roughly 2-3 hours along side several other students. We give critiques and feedback on the first day, then a questions and answer on the second day. The course lasts for 4 weeks. All classes are recorded too, so if you miss a day you can watch it later!
You will have access to private videos to help aid you when it comes to working on the assignments. The classes will be held online using a screen share app where all you need to do is click a link and sign in with no special credentials. That way you can see the paint over/demo/lecture live and can talk to us personally via chat or voice.
Our mission is to give you all the knowledge and skill you need that will help propel you into your career!
*After purchasing a seat, we will put you on the class roster for the upcoming course. If you don't hear from of us please email us at email@example.com with proof of purchase to be sure you are on the roster. Thanks and we will see you in class.*
Sometimes the classes sell out. If so please sign up to the waiting list to get early access to purchasing and discounts!

DOES IT MATTER IF I HAVE A MAC OR PC / LAPTOP ?
It does not matter what kind of computer you are using . As long as it has a decent internet connection and it can run a digital painting program like Photoshop !
I HAVE PURCHASED A CLASS BUT REALIZED I CAN NO LONGER PARTICIPATE , CAN I GET A REFUND?
You will have exactly 7 days from your purchase to inquire about a refund. After that unfortunately we no longer can do so . However , you can save your purchase for a later class date. Meaning that if you bought a class and you no longer can take it , you can use it as class credit and take the class later on down the line. We understand sometimes purchasing such things can be a big decision and we encourage you talk to us before purchasing a class if you are unsure . That way we can assist you to make the best decision for yourself , even if it isn't with us .
WHAT PROGRAMS ARE NEEDED FOR THE MENTOR-SHIP?
Students are welcome to use any programs they feel to get the assignments done . However, feedback and critiques will be done in Photoshop and various 3-D Packages. Only thing that is required is a decent internet connection in order to meet for class sessions.
WHAT IF I MISS CLASS , OR I AM LATE , OR MY INTERNET EXPLODES 0_0 ?!!
Here at Robotpencil we live by the code , " art is easy , life is hard " . With that said we realize that life can happen in the most unexpected ways . Luckily all class sessions are recorded and uploaded to a private playlist that only students can access. So as long as you can turn in your homework , you can watch the feedback at a later time as well as come back to each class recording in case you forgot something.
WHAT LEVEL OF SKILL IS REQUIRED FOR THE MENTOR-SHIP PROGRAM ?
All Levels are accepted in mentor-ship program. Because we do not give the same assignment to everyone we work each student at their current pace and skill level . Basic knowledge of Photoshop and digital painting is the biggest thing we recommend students have , knowledge of any 3-D Package is always a plus too.
